2016 Nissan Titan Diesel, Specs, Concept – When the 2016 Nissan Titan was introduced nine years ago, it was a real bombshell and it remained unchanged until now. It has become the oldest full-size truck that can be found on the U.S. market but that is about to change because Nissan is almost ready to launch a completely revamped version of this popular vehicle. The company claims that their new model is a vehicle with the design of a powerful precision tool.

When you see the specs of the upcoming Nissan Titan 2016, you will immediately realize why it is a perfect vehicle for those who want to buy a full-size truck. To cut the long story short, we will start immediately.
Engine of 2016 Nissan Project Titan
We will start with the engine of the Nissan Titan 2016. Well, if you thought that there will be only one engine option, you are wrong because the 2016 Nissan Titan will be offered with three engine variants. For the very first time, the customers will be offered V6 engine together with an improved version of the powerful V8.
The most powerful will definitely be the new XD model that is expected to be powered by a 5.0-liter turbodiesel V-8. There is no information regarding the output of this engine, but we have no doubt that it will be an extremely powerful engine. The second engine option will be a V8 engine developed by Cummins with the output of 310 horses, while the level of torque is expected to be 555 lb-ft.
This engine will be coupled to a six-speed automatic gearbox. There will also be a 3.0-liter V6 diesel which enables you to get the maximum output of 420 pound-feet of torque.

Interior Design Specs
The new 2016 Nissan Titan will arrive in three cab modes including King Cab, Single Cab and Crew Cab. The cabin will feature Rogue and Altima seats. Heating and ventilation arrives as standard for the front seats, while heating and ventilation arrive as an optional extra for the rear ones. The customers will be offered leather and cloth seats. The cabin features a console which is big enough to hold a 15” laptop.
The vehicle keeps the wide-opening doors and also gets the movable cleats. There is also a 7-inch screen for entertainment and navigation. There will also be a great number of safety features for a relaxing driving feel such as blind spot monitoring, a 360-degree view camera, rear and front sensors and much more.
Exterior Design of 2016 Nissan Titan
The exterior design won’t be much different from the design we have already seen. Perhaps the company simply doesn’t want to change its iconic design. Of course, the newcomer will have a bit more polished curved lines unlike its predecessor. You might notice that there is a dose of retro when it comes to the hood and front fascia, but yet it is a modern pickup.
We can expect a new, heavier grille and a pair of newly designed LED headlights. The rear end of the vehicle will remain mostly unchanged, while the brand-new front bumper will find its place on the front fascia. The vehicle is also expected to grow in size.
2016 Nissan Titan – Price and Release Date
If the rumors are true, the new 2016 Nissan Titan will be priced at $30.000, the base model of course. It will debut at the 2015 Detroit Auto Show.
